CHILDREN’S ART
Jeri Hardy not only creates one-of-a kind “Cross Art” but she also creates a wonderful children’s art. Her mixed media art appeals to children and parents alike for her whimsical themes and great depiction of Bible stories. Her animal paintings come to life with bright colors and fun concepts. Jeri Hardy has several children’s art pieces available from her collection and she delights in creating custom mixed media art that will blend great with your child’s room. Some of her children’s art subjects range from animals to fairies to marching bands. Her children’s art incorporates many embroidered ribbons, children’s keepsakes, and molding paste. Her art is truly the work of a master. Jeri starts with a blank canvas and builds her mixed media art by layering paint, molding paste, and anything else that is not nailed down. For her commission art pieces, she likes to add a personal touch by adding something special from the child. It could be a favorite outfit, a newborn photograph, or even a well-loved toy. She can incorporate a favorite Bible Scripture or a family motto into the art. Jeri does not shy away from color. Her paintings are bright and cheerful. Jeri Hardy likes to incorporate the Bible into many of her artworks. She picks a favorite Bible story of children and makes it come alive. The story of Noah’s Ark is one of her favorites. She has many of the animals strike funny poses and load up on the Ark. Her giraffes smile, her gorillas laugh, and her birds fly with flowers in their mouth. Noah and his family welcome the animal pairs on the Ark with open arms and happy faces. She incorporates many different mixed media in these art pieces as well. Princesses are another favorite of Jeri Hardy’s. Every little girl dreams of being a princess. Jeri likes to use many variations of pink. She also adds glitter and metallic colors of paint. She uses colored ribbon in her mixed media art pieces of princesses. She can also incorporate various dainty flowers vines growing up a castle turret. Jeri Hardy also writes uplifting phrases and quotations to bring the painting together. Jeri is also wonderful at placing beads in her mixed media princess art. The beads can be strung together to make a tiara, a magical wand, or crystals on a ball gown. Jeri does not limit herself when it comes to children’s art. Jeri Hardy resides in the Gulf Coast regions of Mississippi. Her children’s artwork can be found in many nurseries, little girls’ bedrooms, and playrooms of all sorts in the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Her mixed media art is just not limited to her spiritual cross pieces; she does a wonderful job of capturing a child’s imagination. |
